I wish I could give 10 stars to this vet because 5 is simply not enough for how above and beyond this practice goes for their patients and their owners. We started bring our pets here about a year ago when we had a bad experience at another vet. From the very first appointment (with 3 animals, no less) we knew we liked it better than the previous place. Our dog is not an easy patient; he is scared and nippy but they did a great job working with him and listening to my suggestions on how to handle and carry him to make him feel most at ease. So we kept going back. Now onto why they deserve 10 stars... My husband and I recently relocated to a new country for his job and the process to bring the animals has been long and complicated. We ended up having to leave them with a friend while the process was ongoing and what was supposed to be a 4 month process, turned into a 6 month process of hoops and tests and waiting. Habitat has been so wonderful at communicating not only with me (15 hour time difference) but also with the company we hired to handle the moving and paperwork. There have been so many moving parts with this process and Habitat has handled them all so well, and we could not be more grateful. Being so far from your animals makes you feel a bit helpless when things don't go smoothly but it has been so nice knowing they are in the hands of people who genuinely care about you and your animals. So thank you to Dr. Lee, Dr. Zehr, Aubree, Alysia, Karli, Kylee, and Jennifer for continuing to bend over backwards for us and our lil nuggets. It does not go unnoticed or unappreciated!

my sweet and loving Staffy mix to habitat for a normal appointment. She had been to habitat countless times before. They put a new vet in the room with her that insisted my dog have a muzzle on her, even though she had NEVER ever shown signs of aggression. They had never even mentioned the muzzle before this visit. This immediately sent my poor dog into an anxiety attack and we were unable to even complete the exam let alone get shots. If there is a vet at the practice that isn’t comfortable around dogs, especially ones that had never shown signs of aggression, they should not be a vet. I never took my dog back there, but I did take her to EASTGATE PET CLINIC, which I highly recommend as they were able to complete all of pinky’s shots and she left a happy girl with no sense of anxiety like Habitat caused her. So my question to Habitat is, why can Eastgate take care of my dog BIG SCARY DOG without a muzzle but you can’t. I couldn’t recommend against habitat more, and for Eastgate more.
