Hometown Animal Clinic is hands-down the best veterinary clinic in the Treasure Valley! I have trusted them with my dogs’ care for more than 10 years, and they have consistently gone above and beyond. The compassion, care, and genuine love they show my dogs are truly phenomenal. They always take the time to listen to my concerns, and in urgent situations, they do everything possible to get us in quickly without hesitation. Their dedication, professionalism, and kindness mean more to me than words can express. I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care they provide and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary clinic they can trust. 🐾❤️

My kitten and I had an INCREDIBLE experience. They were super affordable. Everyone we met was so kind. All of their staff is awesome. Dr. Pam Takeuchi was amazing, she was open to all my requests and gave so much good advice (I’m a first time cat parent)! She took so much time with us and made sure I was equipped to take care of my kitten! She was very thorough in her questions and I left very confident. My kitten had a great first vet experience and I think it’ll benefit her for her future vet experiences!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Baxter, Mac, and the rest of their team. My dog, Ruca, gets extremely nervous at the vet to the point where I usually have to give her a sedative just for her to be treated. I was traveling to this vet from out of town and accidentally left her sedatives at home, so I was incredibly nervous walking in — but everyone there was so kind, patient, and gentle with her that she stayed calm, happy, and comfortable throughout the entire visit. Mac was especially wonderful with her and made both of us feel so at ease. They were even able to trim her nails, which I have never successfully been able to do because of how anxious she gets. Dr. Baxter came highly recommended to me by a friend, and now I completely understand why. She was absolutely amazing. She took the time to answer every single one of my questions and thoroughly address every concern I had without ever making me feel rushed. I adopted Ruca about a year and a half ago when she was already an adult dog, and it was immediately clear she had come from a traumatic background. One of the biggest challenges has been her intense fear of the vet, which honestly made visits feel nearly impossible. Because of that, I had been putting things off and several minor health concerns had started stacking up over time. Dr. Baxter addressed every single issue, gave me treatment plans and options for everything, and made me feel completely supported through the process. On top of that, I was incredibly impressed with the pricing. For the level of care, attention, compassion, and time they gave us, I left feeling beyond grateful. They will absolutely be our forever vet, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
